Melaka Here I Come
I will go to Melaka tomorrow for a day trip with my family. Grandma won't be joining us because her neck is still in pain. Pity her. Guess she will 'jaga rumah' again.
Anyone(colleagues) want me to bungkus anything for you at Melaka ? Say cencaluk(yumm yummmm), dodol, Tan Kim Hock's product ? Do tell me ya.
This Melaka trip is called Melaka Food Extravagance because I'm going there to eat eat eat more than visiting. Food that I'm going to try at Melaka are Chicken Rice Ball, Cendol, Asam Laksa, Nyonya Chang, Nyonya Kueh and Satay Celup. Wohooo so delicious.
Lalalalalalalalalalalalala...I just hope my grandma won't throw the brand new cencaluk bottle away. Ohhhh my cencaluk...

From purely Malaccan, sorry no pantun for that'lah. Maybe my other recommendation, Umbai Ikan Bakar (grilled fish) or Kuala Sungai Duyong. Other... maybe Malacca Tropical Fruit Farm in Sungai Udang or Asam pedas Melaka in Limbungan or Batu Berendam.
Have a nice and safe trip mate... "Visit Melaka mean visit Malaysia" ;)

9t9 : One day trip and want to go Umbai for Ikan Bakar? That's abit ridiculous, right? So far, actually not that far, but its a distance. Hmm... Better go for Nyonya dinner. Asam pedas in Batu Berendam or Taman Kota Laksamana ler. :D

My plan is to go to Jonker street in the morning after breakfast at one of the chicken rice shop along Jonker street. Anything to see at Jonker Street in the evening ? I'm planning to go back home early.
