Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire

I watched Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire yesterday. Not bad say a girl who didn't even watch the other 3 series of Harry Potter or read the Harry Potter novels. The reason I watched the 4th series is because I heard this story is darker than the other 3. Hehehehe...

I rank this movie 7/10. Not bad yeah although I'm not in awe by the magic or the building or the scenery. You may not hear from me saying this often that 'I can't wait for the 5th installment of Harry Potter'! That's because no bad guy were hurt in this movie. Shit!

Emma Watson as Hermione Granger and Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in Warner Bros. Pictures' Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - 2005

Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley in Warner Bros. Pictures' Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - 2005Posted by Picasa

Spoiler ahead....

I wanna say this - Harry Potter is not so 'heroic' after all(not sure about the novel though). You see in the TriWhiz 1st round championship, all Harry Potter does is to run away from the dragon with some stunt right(just like Jackie Chan get away from bad guy with some stunt too) ? Then in the 2nd round, it was Neville who helped Harry by giving him the 'jelly'.

Harry Potter is a hero in compassion department though. For eg. he saved the girl from the black lake during the 2nd round and his compatriot at the 3rd round. BUT Daniel(aka Potter) need to polish his acting skill in order to convince the audience more. I rarely see his face changes or mood changes in the several adventures he partake. 'Macam muka selamba'...if you know what I mean.

So girls and boys, ladies and gentlemen, aunty and uncle...do go and watch this movie because you get to see a very horrible looking dragon and scarry mermaids.

Harry Potter & The Order of The Phoenix will be coming to you in 2007. In the meantime just hang on to your broomstick will ya ?

Retero - I don't really like Harry Potter story in the first place. That's why I didn't buy any Harry Potter novels. I'll just watch Harry Potter movie.

Kenny Lee - Overall I don't know what this movie is trying to tell because no evil man was hurt in this movie.

the story just got less exciting with too many climaxes, i was sorta relieve when it ended... guess sometimes reading a book is a lot better than watching the movie version... or mayb it's better as a mini-series.. ;P

Where got many climaxes ? I'm excited at the maze part only. Yes mini-series is better.
