Executive Decision
Executive Decision
Yesterday was kinda boring at night with no exciting movie(that I know of) to watch over at Astro. So I decided on a movie called 'Executive Decision' starring Kurt Russell, Stevan Seagal and Halle Berry. Seems a great line up yeah ? Wait till you read further.
The story ? Terrorists seize control of an airliner named Oceanic 747(who know whether the plane that crashes at LOST is also Oceanic 747 ?) with nerve bomb that can wipe out the whole Washington DC. Intelligence analyst accompanies a commando unit for a midair boarding operation(really cool lar). If only such plane exist. The funny part is Seagal got killed during this mid-air transfer operation. I thought he holds supporting role character in this movie ?! With his name after Kurt Russell I thought ‘wah cool, 3 main characters in this high flying drama’. I gave a loud laugh about 10 minutes into this movie. Kurt Russell just shut the passage door connecting that cool plane with Boeing 747 and Stevan Seagal aka Lieutenant Austin got killed instantly.
After that the story goes from dramatic to extreme dramatic. Fyi, this movie was produced in 1996 and the tactics, ideas, movie flows and strategy are pretty good. But I don’t like the ending because Kurt Russell was trying to land the plane with Halle Berry beside him. The acting for this part kinda stupid coz their acting sucks at this part. And they end up together. Yuckkk!
Anyway, I don’t like Kurt Russell and Stevan Seagal. Just that the plots are good, for eg. Who would have thought to build a plane that can board another plane in mid-air ? or the thrilling moment when Cahill and Cappy trying to disarm the nerve bomb again and again and again. I rate this movie 5/10. Watch it if you are like me, going to be bored to death.
