Alonso wins his 6th victory this season in yesterday unfated 67 laps at Hockenheim German GP. It was meant to be Kimi's day, finally and with Montoya catching up from last place, all looks good at McLaren West Mercedes pit. But it was not meant to be. A failed hydraulic at laps 36 for Kimi means it's game over.

Funny, looking how vulnerable Ferrari is. Michael from 2nd place after Kimi's retirement finished 5th. Alonso inched nearer to become this year champion. Well done Alonso, Montoya who finished 2nd-from last and Button, 3rd.


6 wins!!! Kimi and Michael, you guys done for this year. Better luck next year eh!

This time, it was the winner's jersey, for an unprecedented seventh consecutive year in the world's most grueling race.

``For you people who don't believe in cycling, the cynics and the skeptics, I'm sorry for you,'' Armstrong began, standing on the top step of the podium at the Tour de France for the last time. ``I'm sorry you can't dream big and I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles. ... There are no secrets. This is a hard sporting event and hard work wins it.
