Lance & Oprah

Yesterday's Oprah were about 'you guess it' - Lance Armstrong. Before I watch this amazing story in Oprah, I've heard more or less about Lance Armstrong. He had cancer. He was a cancer survivor. He won multiple times.

Here are most of the 'things' that I remember after watching Oprah and would like to share with you.
- He's good-looking(it's true)
- He won 6 times Tour de France(known to be the most gruelling race in the world) consecutively 1999-2004.
- He was divorced with 3 children.
- His girlfriend is Sheryl Crow.
- Somehow he got his sperm keep in a safe place before he got cancer. Most likely after chemotherapy all the sperm will die. Lucky him.
- His mother is a single mother. Linda conceived Lance when she was 17yrs old.
- Linda's family advice her to abort the child. But she did not want to.
- He got his first bicycle when he was less than 10yrs old.
- That was when he wants to be a cross country athlet. But he's best when he's cycling.
- After some testing, doctor said that Lance breath 3x times more air than normal people.
- Many people accused him of taking drugs. Everytime after a race, he would check for drug test and everytime the results came out negative.
- To keep people's mouth shut, he did an advertisement with Nike. In that advertisement he said he pratised 6hrs a day. That's why he's good.
- His 3 children are so cute.
- He loves children.
- He said his sperm were keep so long(5yrs) it's unbelievable his children looks like him. Hahahaha
- During cancer, he had 1 of his cancerous testicle operated out. Now he left with one.
- Also during cancer, he had his brain operated. Saw his scar.
- He dosen't want to give up.
- A lady with breast cancer always look up at Lance. She survived the first cancer. Now her cancer came back and she are fighting for her life.

This year he will participate in cycling again. Watch out for him.

p/s I was planning to buy one yellow band. Cost only USD1. Too bad there's no shipping to Malaysia. Also please mind my broken English.

u dont really have to buy the yellow wristband, u know... there's lots of transparent 1 cent donation boxes at most cashiers of fast food n shopping outlets indicating to which organizations/causes the proceeds will go to, including cancer. just drop RM3.88 into 'em. what's more, it's closer to home!! :))
no need to look at ur wrist to remind that u did something worthy.
it's already nicely wrapped around ur heart, tight n firmly bound. even if in the end, it's only u who knew about it, all that matters is... u contributed. :))))
